Within the series of diverse cultural and scientific activities held by the Academic Excellence Center – Female Branch of ofuq Foundation for Education and Development – in front of the University of Taiz, the activities department of the center organized on Tuesday 5/3/2019 poetry evening entitled the rhyme of letters , in which four talented students participated in Poetry and Arabic literature.
The evening aimed at discovering talents and abilities and developing the skills of students in the field of poetry and literature to revive the authentic Arab heritage.The poetic evening also aimed to provide talented students in poetry to highlight their talents and poetic and literary abilities, as well as to encourage students to stand before the public and not to bury talents and skills.
The evening also included a number of cultural and recreational paragraphs aimed at enhancing the cultural aspects and community participation of students, as well as several interventions and comments from the audience on the topics of poems . The poems are about targeted themes such as the reality of the Arab nation and the phenomenon of blind emulation among young people, and the western try to change Arab identity, as well as the difficulties and obstacles that face the students .
The evening was not limited to the subjects of the suffering of the community, but was a joy, love and sincere brothers share of them … where one of the students gave a poem praise to her colleagues at the Academic Excellence Center . She expressed her love and sincere brothers to her colleagues at the center. The activity won the approval of all students in the center and the interaction with it. The activity bring joy to the center.
The evening was praised by Sanaa Abdulqader Al-Yousifi, Director of the Academic Excellence Center – Female Branch – affiliated to Horizon Foundation for Education and Development, and her admiration for the students of the Center and the spirit of cooperation which the students have, thanking the activities department at the Center represented by teacher Fatima Abdo Hazza as well as students Participants in this activity also urged all students of the Center to participate and benefit from these specific activities held in the Center. She pointed out that the evening came within the framework of refining the talents and abilities of the students of the Center, and the development and employment of their various skills.
