Ofiq Foundation for Education and Development,in cooperation with AMIDEAST, this morning in the hall of pioneer University,organized atraining workshop for more than 210 high school students,with the aim of qualifying them on how to search for educational scholarships to finance their studies in American universities ,in the presence of Professor Amin Ahmad ,Executive Director of Ofoq Foundation ,and Dr. Saleh Omar Saleh Hamid Director of our stories project at AMIDEAST ,and Professor Farha Saeed Bin Bishr,education official and guide international at AMIDEAST.
Professor Amin Ahmed explained that the workshop targets distinguished male and female students in the third year of secondary school,as they were selected in cooperation with the Office of Education in Taiz Governorate .
During the workshop ,Dr. Saleh Hamid gave a presentation ,in which he addressed the definition of our stories program for online culture exchange between American and Yemeni students ,the goal of the program ,and ways to apply to .In addition to introducing the benefits of graduating from our stories program and the advantages granted to graduates .
For her part,Professor Farha Saeed introduced the Education USA ,their methods for applying to American universties and introducing the tests required by American methods for ensuring the accreditation of universities ,application steps ,admission conditions,and required documents.
At the conclusion of the workshop ,participants expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Ofoq Foundation for Education and Development and AMIDEAST for organizing such valuable event ,which helped them understand how to search for educational scholarship to finance their universal studies in America.
This workshop comes within the framework of Ofoq Foundation for education and development and AMIDEAST’s efforts to support Yemeni students who wish to complete their graduate studies in the United States ,and to provide educational opportunities , skills and necessary knowledge that enable them to present at American universities .
